Spence Copper Mine Desalination Plant – GRUPO COBRA

The new plant seeks to increase the water supply capacity of the Spence surface-underground copper mine in north of Chile by the utilization of seawater resources. The plant has a 154 km long water transmission system, with Ø 36" (900 mm) steel pipe and three pumping stations (2,000 m a.s.l.).
