They are supposed to have a vulcanized seam- according to a belt manufacturer, wide belt sanders are the highest pressure application to conveyer belting and the alligator style clipping is not adequate and will eventually fal. They are pretty standard rough top belts.

Please take notice: JET has Model 16-32 that takes a 17 3/8" X 38" belt and a model 16-32 PLUS which takes a 16" X 43 1/2" belt. Jet has a model 22-44 PLUS which takes a 22 3/8" X 47 1/2" belt and a model 22-44 PRO which takes a 23" X 62" belt. Avoid ordering the wrong size belt.
