Mar 04, 2014· Thanks for the kind words sjverla. I will testify yet again that the Monster Mill is a BEAST, especially in comparison to the Barley Crusher. Performance and quality surpass it 10x over. Plus the Barley Crushers have a design flaw that results in them all eventually wearing out.

This mill rocks!!!! I also mill my friends grain and it just keeps going and going. I put a 1/3hp motor with 12" vs 1.5" pullys and this is a joy to use. The shaft is 3/8 and it would be nice to have it bigger like 1/2". My mill will out live me and gives a great crush.

The Monster Mill also has oil impregnated bushings, which I think might help prevent this situation. As all Barley Crushers do, mine did come with the O ring initially.
